Supper Clubs

Our events started with supper clubs and wow, we never expected for them to be so successful. Supper clubs have become ‘trendy’ in many big cities since renting space is almost impossible for small buisnesses. However, they are in short supply in Southsea/Portsmouth – especially not vegan.

The concept is to bring people together around one large table, socialise with new people while enjoying a lavish 4 or 5 course, fine-dining experience. The food brings together plant based flavors creatively using foraged or local and seasonal produce; fermentation and art.
These dinners take weeks to prepare – so much love goes into one night; tell me where you can find such a meal? I truely love being the host and chef for these unique experineces. We held our first in June 2019 and then at least one a month until NYE 2019! All sell outs!

In summer 2020 during all the crazy COVID stuff, we managed to make a very special event happen. Essentially, we set up a resturant on a farm for one night only, to fundraise for Arms Around the Child. With food and music, we bought people out of thier many months of isolation.

The views were divine, the jazz was perfect and the food was devoured.
A four course, seasonal meal filled with food from the Farm to fill 60 people was served through our two seatings. That’s 24o plates of food in one day… The event was supported by Fillipo Berio, using thier range of authentic oils and vinegars to create a perfect summer menu. The event raised £2200 for charity!

LANO Feasts

Summer 2020 we were privilidged enough to join forces with LANO yoga Southsea to create yet another feasting event. LANO provided us with thier beautiful studio space, so we filled it with people, music and food. There’s a theme here, huh?! A long lazy afternoon of jazz and three courses of lunchtime feasting went down a treat with our beautiful guests.

As always, our food was made from scratch using the best seasonal produce to create art with plants. Connecting our ethos about food with the yoga studio felt pretty symbolic.
We hosted two of these events during the summer and we feel blessed to have such a great community of small buisinesses in Portsmouth that help eachother out.

These events helped raise money for Arms Around the Child, the afternoons fundrasied over £600 for the chairty.
