Roald Dahl was one of the leading authors of my childhood, reading every single book he had written to myself. His work enchanted me with his exciting storylines and loveable characters, such as Matilda, Willy Wonka and of course The BFG. Dahl’s stories are nostalgic for me and many, but even so, they can be enjoyed by any age group.

I was delighted to see the re-make of The BFG. This family classic resurrected itself for this new generation of families to have their heart warmed by, which consequently inspired me to create a Vegan Snozzcumber recipe.
A Snozzcumber is a cucumber-like vegetable with lumpy, warty skin. Our compassionate giant refuses to eat “human beans” and is instead is left nothing but his vegetarian diet of snozzcumbers that taste like rotten fish and frogskin. However, I have created a much tastier snozzcumber for you guys, and of course have kept to our friendly giants ethical roots and made it vegan!!

The snozzcumber recipe is a great way to make food fun for kids, while also getting lots of nutrition down them with our mock tuna recipe that fills the interior of hollowed cucumbers. Yet, that doesn’t mean the adults can’t have fun with these snozzcumbers too.

My recipe is an adapted version of Roald Dahl’s Revolting Recipes Snozzcumber recipe, which unfortunately is filled with fish.

  3. Superb blog! Do you have any tips and hints for
aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but
I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid
option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed ..
    Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

    1. Thanks! Depends what kind of blog you’re going for? Food? Blogger is supposed to be a great free platform, but I haven’t used it. However, if you want people to be impressed by your blog and want it to look professional, i’d probably go for paid wordpress. Free wordpress is great to start off, but it’s very limited. It’s frustrating how little you can change and edit.

I’ve no knowledge of coding however I had been hoping

have any recommendations or techniques for new blog owners please share.

I understand this is off subject but I simply wanted to ask.

    1. Hey! I have no idea about coding either! I’m not going to lie, I think my life would be easier if I did understand it, but you don’t HAVE to know it.
Maybe use a WordPress theme which is easy to edit to start you off!

      Thanks
