Cacao & Peanut Butter Bark

Beautifully rich raw cacao slab, with a creamy peanut butter swirl. Indulge yourself with a nutritious treat, or surprise a friend with a homemade present this Christmas! Super quick and easy.
Ingredients
Chocolate
  • ⅓ cup cacao butter
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder
  • 2.5 tbsp. maple syrup
  • ½ tsp sea salt
Peanut Swirl
  • 1.5 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1.5 tbsp. cacao butter
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. chopped peanut (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a bain-marie, melt the cacao butter for the chocolate & peanut butter swirl until completely liquid
  2. In the meanwhile, in a small bowl mix together peanut butter, melted cacao butter and maple syrup. Set aside.
  3. Take the bowl off of the pan and whisk in the cacao, maple syrup and salt until smooth. Taste and sweeten with more maple syrup if necessary.
  4. Pour onto the waxy side of a sheet of baking paper/greaseproof paper, spreading with a spoon or spatula into a rectangle slab
  5. Now swirl in the peanut butter mixture with a fork, spoon or skewer.
  6. If topping with peanut, spread them on top of the slab before the chocolate sets
